Hi,

I am looking to buy seats to retrofit in my 1969 camaro. I had a 2000 z28 with power seats and I really liked them. If I would like to get similar seats will all power seats from 4th gens be the same or are they different between the LT1/LS1 years?

yes the lt1 seats are muuuuch nicer as far as comfort and side bolstering. if ur going to recover them def. get lt1 style seats. if i ever recover my interior im going to get them.

I had my seats redone on my '99 with some high quality leather but I had them done in the LT1 style because I like them better as well.

Do they use the same covers or are they different in some way? As far as the power switches, etc. is that all the same? I am buying some and the person is not sure if they are the LT1 style or LS1 style.

I believe the same seats have been used since the 3rd gens. The only difference is basically the cover design and power option.

they are different. they changed the design in 97 when they did the interior change. get the 93-96 style. ive had both and its night and day.
