Meanest wax?
Ok... so i have a 2002 burgandy camaro... im a detail freak... 9 hours every sunday... ive tried so many different waxes and just cant make up my mind with which one is best... ive tried numerous types (liquid and paste) of meguiars, turtle wax, mothers, and a few other types.... its just getting to costly.... some loook good but dont make it bead up on the body as well... im looking for something that looks good... but will still keep that protective finish....(beads up a few times later, not just look good).... ne one with suggestions who has that color? or any new types to try?

i use zaino on my z. i used meg's in the past like to pro stuff in the tan bottle's and also nxt and for me it just dont last.
its like i would wax my car[this was when it first came out and the car was a black mettallic jag s type] and like the next day it dident look like i waxed it and if i would wash the car it would feel like there was nothing on it at all.
zaino is by far the best i have used and i last for a wile.
its a little expensive at first but it really last a long time product wise
check em out www.zainostore.com

The correct answer is whatever high quality product that YOU like the best.
experiment .. as long as you use reputable products, you can't hurt anything. (but possibly your wallet)
there are too many choices to name. bottom line is that we can't tell you what YOU think will look best on your car.
For durability, a synthetic sealant will outlast a carnauba.
for depth of shine, you can't beat a sealant topped with a carnauba.
we have a site sponsor that makes great products .. give them a try

It depends on your price range. Megs, Mothers and Tropicare are a good looking products with average durability. Zaino is the benchmark against which every other product is compared. ZAIO, CS and Z8 are a phenominal combination.

I use Zymol Carbon. I've found nothing that can make black look as good as Carbon does. Plus it smells great.
But it's true that it depends on your own tastes. Give all our suggestions a try until you find one you like the best.

i believe its ok to layer sealants, but its not exactly necessary. clay (if necessary), lay down a coat of polish, then seal it up with a wax of ur choice.
what makes a car shine (and subsequently keeping that shine) is the prep work that was done. getting rid of all the contaminants via clay bar, or dishwashing soap, then filling it all the small swirls with a good polish is what can really make or break a car's shine (and glistening longevity) when the sealant is applied. just make sure u do a good job of prepping the car.

Take a look at the products from PoorBoys World. Very inexpensive and excellent. Some of the easiest products I have ever used.
There is a great detailers forum (the LS1Tech.com for detailing freaks) at
http://www.detailcity.org/forums/ PoorBoys World actually has the most active forum on that site.
That site has all the answers to any detailing question and provides great help to any posted question from my experience.
