2002 Trans Am WS6 dicontinued?
I went to a dealer to purchase a 2002 WS6 emblem. I and was told by the dealer they were no longer available and were discontinued. Is this true?

Its still in the gmpartsdirect catalog and it doesn't say anything about being discontinued.
What's funny is the CETA WS6 emblem is cheaper than the red one

I am a gm parts guy, im looking at my catalog right now. its a number we stock but we are are out of them. List price on them is $126.82. Kinda pricey. Numerous dealers across the country are stocking them. Part Number 12455216. the other parts guy must have been high. and yes, the CETA one is cheaper.

I get snap on at cost I have several for work I use. That one is a bit extreme the biggest one I got goes to 250 ft lbs and its digital It was around 350.00 (advertised price, not what i paid )which is not too bad.
I thought that when vehicle is discontinued the Manufacturer has to supply parts up to a certain amoutn of years. Its like 7 yrs or something right? Or is this just in Aviation, in other words we should still be able to get parts until 2009. I am sure someone knows for sure.
