Default Headlight question..would it be possible

So if I bought these headlights...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CCFL-...QQcmdZViewItem

and a HID kit from LED gauges, would it be a simple plug and play to install them? I was under the impression that the LED guages kit used a somewhat similar 9006 bulb that went in the original ones place..? So then there was nothing tricky about it. This Low beam bulb on these headlights doesn't look like a normal one. Anyone have experience with these? I have the original halo's now, but want to upgrade.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-02...QQcmdZViewItem

I see this design too, but think they have too much going on for me, lol.

Thanks

Im assuming since its sats OE replacement that you would still be utilizing the stock 9006 bulbs, so you should be able to just use a 9006 HID conversion kit. Either way, nathan sells all kinds of HID kits for just about any bulb from H1s to 9007s. Give him a call Im sure he could help you out.

I think those projectors use H3 bulbs. If so, then they must come with some sort of adapter harness.

Can anyone who has these chime in (especially if you installed HID)?

no.
only with the original halo design (1 halo) you can use HID kit
if you are looking at the newer dual design kit, they already come with h3 or h4 projectors, so if you have a kit, you would need to sell it, no longer useful to you.

so, in summary, no, you cant use the HID kit on those halos

Why can't you get the H3 HID kit for these new halos if that's what bulbs they use?
I'm sure if I had these things to look at I'd understand...but never had it all laying out in front of me

Looks good! Do you have any other pictures just to get different angles of those headlights installed? I can't decided if I want to buy the 9006 kit for my halos now or do those and get the H3 kit(as it seems I need). Can you wire the Halo's to the DRLs or fog lights like most people do with the original Halo's to turn them on seperately? and do those 3-4 little lights on the side get wired seperate or with the Halo's?

The low beams do suck if your using normal bulbs, as soon as i installed the HID kit (they use the H3 kits) in mine it was like a night and day difference it really helps.

The little LEDs are wired in with the halos but just like thosewhohatedmecreat said im sure you can onpen them up and cut a few wires, myself personally you really have to see them more in person but they're really growing on me, for the wiring i just hooked them up to my DRLs. as for the other pics i do have some more but i wont be able to get to them till after work.

well, when you buy these they come with the normal highs/lows and the backing brace so that they should be just a straight bolt on. the bulb that they use are the H3/and the stock high beam bulb combo (low/high), and i did have to buy the HIDs separetly.
