new stance, wheels widened, and detail **lots of pics**
Everyone keeps telling me for years I need to lower my car, but i was concerned cuz of the ground effects and my 3" true duals. Well I decided to take the plunge and began the project. I ordered the BMR 1" progressive spings, Revalved Bilsteins from Strano Performance, Trac-Tek relocation brackets, and BMR adjustable panhard bar. And TA cover too.
After lowering, I decided to get my chrome SS 10-spokes widened to 11" in the rear. I sent them off to Weldcraft Wheels in Michigan for about 3 weeks and then got them back. They came out nice too. The welds were really good. I wrapped them in some new Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's 315/35/17. Let me tell you, these are some WIDE tires. Much wider than the Nitto 315's. I had to pound the fenders just a little bit, also had to get 1 1/4" billet adapters to make them fit (since the 2" was added to the inside of the wheel). I borrowed a fender rolling tool (Eastwood Co.), and it was really easy, no paint damage when rolling.
Finally I finished it up with some rotary work and several coats of Zaino Oh, and I know the front end has a lot of rock chips, thats next on the list to fix.
Ok, here are the pics, in order.

in progress: suspension
Rust = frozen nut. had to be cut off
