Awesome stuff guys. Now that my stainless bolt kit should be here anyday from 'toofazt', I can do this mod first and really clean up my engine bay... just in time for the Dream Cruise...

It never says anything about a grommet so thats why I dont have one.

I used a 1/4 tube and slit it long ways then pushed the slit over the metal until the tube covered the hole like a gromet. Work like a charm, i have heard of people putting a little caulk inside the tube to hold it on but I haven't had a problem with that with out it.

Here's a link to some flexible grommet material. It's really inexpensive and makes the hole look professional.

This is just what I found in a quick google search. You can probably get the stuff at Radio Shack.
p.s.
Sweet engine bays guys. One day I'll....

Did mine last night.
took about 2 hours. and that was even stopping to take a Supper break
as far as the hole, I took a small coolant hose, Slit it down the middle, and then slid it around the hole..( it was allready 9 PM when I finished, and I needed to get cleaned up and go to work, so this was a quick fix, and I had some old oil line hose laying around..)
looks pretty good.
now all I need to do is replace the 2 black rivits.......

I just did this mod this weekend too... love the bloody knuckles in the pics, mine are still shredded too. Only suggestion I'd make is to keep the hole about 2-3" toward the engine bay, away from the fender. I drilled my hole too close to the fender and it really stretched the wires. I kept rearranging them and pulling for slack up on top by the PCM and made it work though. I got rid of the EGR & AIR and relocated the hood latch all at the same time so it made a big difference under the hood.
