I did this early this season. Really cleans things up. I went ahead and used a stepped drill bit and drilled out to fit a 5/8" ID wire grommet in the hole and de-/re-pinned all the connectors.

Still need to fill in the holes from this and all of the other random holes in the bay.

Dont you need a special tool to repin those factory connectors.

Definitely one of the best appearance mods I've done under the hood. Oh and getav8: your pics are ridiculous!! I think the fact that your paint is white and clean makes it look immaculate under the hood...nicely done!

One more for ya.

Thanks for the comments guys. The wire mod does help clean up immensely. Now if someone can figure out what to do with all the wires and stuff on top of the motor.

Ran across this thread while researching this myself. It's what I plan to do.

Do us all a favor and make a write up about it bro when you do it.
I don't wanna f with my throttle cables without some foresight.

I have the nick william TB and it already hangs a little, I don't need anymore problems at stop lights or spring mods.

I did not have traction control so when I deleted the cruise control it was simple. Just pulled out everything and cut the bracket that mounts to the intake that holds the throttle and cruise cable so that it only has a hole to hold the throttle cable.
