I guess its not a good idea to do this on the TA since my inners are cut out in the middle because my car tucks the damn tire into the fenderwells

It looks like some of you have moved your battery. How hard was it? What size cable did you use? Any suggestions on how to run the wiire for that? Also any other recommendations for doing this mod? I am planning to do both of these in the near future.

Also like someone noted get a rubber gromment in that hole. I used a small rubber length of tube that I split down the length of the tube as a gromment

how did you fill the wholes up?

A smokin' write up.....

You could shave on the reflection from those fender wells. I plan on reusing the retainer clips and just clip them from below like SIC LSX had mentioned..

GetaV8:
So after your filled the holes I assume you re-sprayed the inner fenders w/rattle can since the strut bolt threads are white? Also, what did you clean your engine with to wash it and did you spray it down with CD2 when you were done to make it look so new?

Very nice.

So I just got done doing this mod. It looks great, I'll post a pic soon but one question. Is electrial tape gunna be enough to pervent it from getting wet. I mean I don't plan on driving it through floods or anything like that, just like rain or whatever.

really think im going to do this mod. should be fairly simple since my engine and tranny are out already :p what was used to fill the holes?? i wouldnt think body filler would work since it would eventually work itself out of the holes and crack the paint.

I know it's a 5yr old thread but has anyone run into problem with oil level sensor plug not reaching after doing this. Mines plug won't reach the oil level sensor. Everything else plugged in with some tension but ok. Also I did have motor/trans out to do a motor swap. Maybe routing is wrong?

You probably drilled the hole too far away. i just did one a few months ago and didn't have any issues.
