Default Got my Hillco bolt kit in the mail

Hopefully its not too much of a pain to figure out where it all goes. Anyone else that got a hillco kit is there bolts to replace those brass looking ones for the ground on the rad support? Looks like there is a ton of bolts for the hood I guess the big package is the ones for the hinges.

Nice, I've had my Hillco bolts installed for a few years now...top quality stuff!!!

EDIT...I don't believe it comes with the bolts to replace the grounds....I had to buy additional bolts from Hillco....

Travis my tb bolt kit came with 12 bolts it looks like what are they all for? 3 to hold it on, 2 for the cable bracket, maybe 4 for the tps and iac. Cant think of what the others are for.

I believe the kit is close to or right at $250 on their website. I spent almost $400 for mine, but I also got the anodized blue showstyle washers. I bought mine each individual plus many extras cause the kit wasn't available when I got all of mine. But well worth it.

I got my complete Hillco Kit with red beauty washers from a member for $60. Nice kit - but the one thing you will find that is a PITA, is that all the insert washers have a hole much bigger than the bolt that is going thru them.

When you install; you have to try and align the beauty washer so that the bolt head is perfectly centered in the washer combo - fairly hard to do since the washer combo wants to spin off center as you tighten the bolt

I would tighten the bolt down just tight enough so the washer was starting to tighten up, tap the washer combo to get it centered under the bolt head, then try and hold it in place with fingers as I gradually tighten the bolt the rest of the way.

Made the install take 2X as long as it should have...

If you just go ahead and tighten the bolt as you would any other - all the washer combos will twist off center and look like ****.

Glad I didn't pay the full price from Hillco, as for that amount of $$ you would think they could use washers that fit the bolt tightly to alleviate this problem.

Plus the fact that you can buy all the same bolts in either chrome or polished SS online for much less (as long as you know all the correct sizes). Far as I can see - the only thing all that $$ buys are the beauty washers.

Kit does dress up the engine bay (even though every bolt I replaced with the kit I had already had chromed previously) - just not worth their asking price IMHO
