In case your wondering what I've been up to, I've gone off the deep end. I'm trying to work out a mid engine design. Maybe you have some suggestions for me.
i think it gets about 10" of travel

Your car is insanely sick . . . . . .

Slammed is the ****. . . . . .

Nothing beats seeing a car lay on its frame.

I may not have to go mid-engine. I'm going to see if I can't raise the K-member about 2" or 3" and squeeze the engine in there some how. Moving the trans to the rear similar to a vette is still an option, though. I'm looking into it.

I do plan to remove the shock towers. Did you consider that?

As soon as I saw the tape I know what was up. Fiberglass. Do you know roughly how much air space you'll have?

About that 10" of suspension travel, are you over extending the upper ball joint? Mine seems to go from extreme to extreme after about 8". Part of the problem is the arm is so short. I plan to switch to a uniball with misalignment bushings to get plenty of travel. Or if I make the arm longer I might be able to run a regular balljoint. I just have to wait and see.

going 2 get some shipping peanuts and fill the box up with them and then measure them 2 see how much air space it has
so i can decide what speakers 2 go with

i did reangle the balljoints 2 help

but a uniball would be ur best choice 2 get the most travel
a lot of people use them

dude, this is one of the most unique cars on this site. you should be proud to have taken the road less traveled, even if nobody likes it. it looks like you're doing a kickass job and it's going to be slick as hell when it's done. you NEED to keep this thread updated
