Default polishing the AC condenser to mirror finish

guys whats the best stuff to use to polish the AC condenser? I got the ***** and pads to go on a drill, i have heard mothers billet Al polish

That is exactly what I used. Though I didn't use a drill, did it by hand. Looks great!! Don't forget about the lines running by the radiator...

sweet, i'll post pics when its done...actually i'll post pics of ALL that I'm doing in my STS thread...cuz i'm returning the oil line to the oil pan also... lots of stuff going on this fall break (oct 4th through 9th for me)

Is it best to sand then polish, or just polish

I pulled mine out and used a 6" buffing wheel. You could also get one of our polished ac plates http://store.specializedstainless.co.../Detail?no=114

FYI, it's the dryer/accumulator. The condensor is up front in front of the radiator.

Polish it and then put a coat of wax on it to keep it shiny longer.

Thats what I udid to mine..and then jI clear coated it uso I didnt have to iworrie about it....it looked great

Back when I had A/C, I just polished mine with Nevr-Dull padding. After a couple of passes it had a mirror shine.

Mothers Aluminum polish on a rag will work the same - just polish like crazy, let it dry, buff, repeat.

Just get the polishing wheel from lowes that you put on a drill. works really good
