I think you took a step back. I have chrome firehawk wheels on my car right now and want new wheels but its taking me a long time to figure out what will go with the car best. I'm not saying you made a bad decision just an unimaginative one. The wheels you took off are one of the best looking wheels for the car and very few people have them. I'm sure tomzwheels has sold more z06 wheels than there are firehawks made. If I had your car and wheels I would have gone a completely different thats all really I can say.

It a look more for the younger crowd (red/black) I think
Personally I love it and I would throw the same rims on it, do you have a CETA mod done? or do firehawks come with it

Looks good but the factory yellow firehawk decal clashes with the red/black. I think i would try to get a Firehawk sticker in black or something. Just my 2 cents!

I agree 100%. I think you made an "ok" decision. I would have personally went with something a little more pricey and, for lack of better terms, exotic. The Firehawk wheels look great on that car to begin with, and now that you have stepped down to a more common and un-attractive wheel, I would just assume its "just another ta".

Ditto, ...
Chrome Firehawk wheels would be preferred IMO.
But I'm not a black wheel person either.
Especially black with all those screw heads.
But again, that is 'my opinion' only.
Your car, you do what you like!
Now drop it! No, ..., I mean lower it!

Looks great ... got Chevrolet emblems on the center pieces of my black chrome AFS ZR-1's. Nobody ever says anything about the center pieces. They always compliment me on the wheels. CETA mod was done on mine, as well. Just keep the Firehawk wheels in case you ever sell the car, if you haven't sold them yet. They'll help a little with the resale value if you trade it in at a dealership.

could've widened the Hawk wheels to 10.5-11 in the back and called it a day. Also, could've powdercoated them black too.. I, along with most people on this site, think Hawk wheels are badass....

As much as I am a fan of CCW and other popular wheels for Firebirds, the Firehawk wheels are quite sweet Plus, it's part of the car... I vote for widened Firehawk wheels versus swapping.

Clean car though!
