i like the 2nd one the best. i think the first one would look ok if it had big 4in. single outlet tips. all 3 are great though

So with that news, he is going to make some of these bumpers? If so, wich ones? I would be game to buy either the 2nd or 3rd one. Am I right in all this?

Price would be a $280 shipped group buy (little more $ because we're doing more then just copying this time). Of course it wouldnt have a 6 month downtime like the CME. (Reason for the downtime was because we tried to save 98redM6's original valance - Project took about 1.5 months after he gave us the okey to hack it apart).

I'll get working on this..
Very good to hear!! I think you will get a lot of good response from this! Keep us updated on how this comes together and we'll get together a group buy

I'll get working on this.. In the mean time I need someone with

1. a Camaro Rear bumper (in good condition - I do not care about paint as long as it hasnt been hit/damaged). (SoCal 626 area)
2. Someone that can swing by for some test fitting (in return you get a free painted valance =))

PM me if you fit the requirements (in January)

So are you going to make all 3 versions? Or just 2&3?

Thats why we kinda need the car.. it'll be pointless to make three different molds for something so similar.. worst case is that I'll make these out of fiberglass for the smallest tips but leave enough material there so it can be easily modified to fit larger (widder) tips.

There are soo many different tips.. I think it would be best to make design #2.. by using design #2 guys with the OEM tips can use it as well.. I'll make a demo piece and hopefully some of the socal guys can help me out =)

true but i see more people getting 3 just cause tips are available, the corsa's,slp's, hooker's, and the list goes on. For# 2 the tips will have to be modified, on top of the that these tips are a PITA to get ahold of for a decent price. I dont see to many people using there OEM z28 tips either.

I got a bumper you can use. Im in the 909 so let me know when you need it.

how big of a width difference is there b/n the CME tip and the corsa tip? would it be possible to make ONE valance that would work for either tip?

One valance wouldn't be able to accomodate both tips. The CME tips are wider than the Corsa's but I believe the Corsa's may be taller than the CME tips. The Corsa's definitely would definitely have a gap on the sides if they were placed in the valance pictured in #2. As Klumzyee mentioned, worst case is to make one valance in fiberglass so that people can modify the valance for almost any set of tips. I don't think much people like that idea though. They want to see one or the other.
