taking the clear cover off the headlight???

I seen a post on here a while back, did a search and it didn't come up. So I'll ask u. I know u can put the headlight in the oven @ 200 for a certain amount of time. I forgot how long. If anyone can tell me or has that mod where they painted part of the headlight inside black let me know. thanks.

Sorry, I don't have the mod link for you but you can "bake" them for 20 minutes @ 200 degrees and that will work. You could probably find the rest of the info by doing a search for "painted headlight" in here...

Anybody have a pic of this on their car. I can only find pics of the headlights by them selves.

I did the mod but don't have pics. 20 minutes at 200 degres is only a guideline. That worked well for one headlight but the other stayed in the oven about ten more minutes and was still alot tougher. Be gentle! That new spray paint from Krylon called "Fusion" bonds very well with minimal prep.
The car took on a whole new attitude...looks mean as hell. Very worthwhile mod. especially on a black car.
