What do i have to do to get my car in a magazine?

LOL buy the mag you want your car in. Look at the readers rides section or what ever that mag calls it. Most of them have details on how they want things submitted. Other than that clean car, good angles, good pictures and a detailed description of the car always help

My suggestion would be to get in touch with one of the writers of the magazine to maybe do a cover shoot. Otherwise just try submitting to the Reader's Rides section. They usually post an Email to send pictures and info to in the RR section

when it comes to magazines think about this...would other people get bored reading about your car? i know you get excited thinking about your car, but its yours. think with an objective perspective, then realize that they need to sell magazines. If you think you have something about your car that makes it unique enough to interest MANY other people then submit a description and VERY GOOD pictures to their editor, and dont be surprised if you never hear from them, or if your car ends up in a "readers rides" section.
My car was in 1 magazine, but it was an e-zine, meaning its only online, and they seem somewhat desperate for nice cars since its still new. if you want to get your car in that magazine then just PM me and ill send you their link.

I run a hot rod magazine and I can tell you that editors are very busy, so if they don't reply it doesn't hurt to get back in touch with them again. First email them your pics then if they don't reply call them up on the phone!

Get a pewter 98-02 Camaro Z/28 , put an SS wing on it , Drop it with an air ride system , leave the stock Z/28 hood on it , install a black billet grille , put some 17x10 TTII's & 275/40's on the front & 315/40's on the back ,remove the side mlds. & door handles , leave the engine stock except for polished hookers with a chrome strut tower brace & tuned with a small chrome bottle of juice & chrome Magnaflow with stock tips . Oh yeah , it must be a convertible with a SOLID 10 half nude blonde standing next to it with her *** cocked out of gear . Snap a couple of professional pics & your in like Flint baby !

But yes go to the BIG shows like all GM shows and the power tour, woodward cruise and the f-body gathering in atlanta and even enter small shows too and win a few and big track events. A readers ride submission is a good start. And all this info is from my sis at vette, corvette fever, mopar muscle and other mags she worked on in her 8 years.
And another thing if you see someone from a mag at a show and introduce your self and ask. I meet alot of them and there real cool and love cars.
