So Im in the middle of doing this. And not sure what shade of black to go with? flat, satin, low gloss, or even semi?
I'm looking at other threads, and see alot of differnt shades used. But them look differnt with the lense over them, and some people have cloudy lenes.
And people dosnt post what shade that used.
So lets see pics, and what shade you used.

I dont mean to hijack your thread, Im going to do the whistler mod to my fiances' car and I was debating on buying the headlights already painted or buying stockers and painting them. I have heard that if you buy them from PCP or other places they are physically shorter than stock. I wouldn't mind seeing pics of the gap compared to stock if someone had some.
As for the thread starter..........def. gloss black if yoru doing it yourself

I think maybe 02gtp are thouse, or they are the same look. Like the 1/2 whistler mod, were you doant paint the ripples.
Heres some pics I found on others cars that posted the color they used. I don't like the flat, satin black ones. They always looks cloudy it seams.
These look to be gloss. I htink it looks badass on the white car.

FLAT
satin charcoal
I have 2 light coats on so far, with dupli-color grafite wheel paint. I hope to have it on the car this week to see how it looks
