My Custom Paint 1995 T/A!
Well here she is, my 1995 Trans Am that is packing a very nice custom paint job. She is also newly rebuilt with a healthy 383 supercharged engine.
The paint is 12 years old now and has been hit or miss with local car people. People have either loved it or totally hated it and think that I suffer from "small man syndrome".
One thing is for damn sure though, it gets a rise out of damn near everybody who sets their eye on it. Almost always have heads glued to it as I drive by, especially young kids who usually damn near have heart attacks.
Anyways, decide for yourself! I apologize for not having more pics!

I kinda like the whole peel away thing. With the blue its good and a great contrast really. If you get some wheels itll pop out even more.
Also next time you get your tires balanced get the wheels weights stuck on the inside of the wheels. Its only like .25 more then the outside kind but looks a TON better.

Oh yeah, I get that all the time.
Thanks for the advice with the wheel weights, I was wondering if I could do anything about them and now that I know that, I will absolutely do something about them.
I have some ZR-1 replica rims that I am deciding on whether or not I want to put on the car. Maybe some Weld drag wheels or some to that effect, oh well time will tell.
Keep the opinions comin'! I worked hard to make the car as nice as it is today, there is still so much to do even!!

I think you should throw the ZR-1 wheels on there and see how it looks, looks like whoever painted it did a great job.....
If you don't mind me asking...how much did it cost all together?

The previous owner actually painted it himself w/ the assistance of one other man who assisted with airbrushing(and now paints clown cars). The two pulled off quite the feat, the previous owner was not even a painter by profession. The paint is House of Kolor to my knowledge and is mixed with an additive to make it more resilient to impact (I have seen this in action, it is amazing.) It is my understanding that the cost of the materials alone neared the $5,000 mark.
The car is pinching at noise ordinance around here even with a catted Y-pipe set up. The supercharger howls like a banshee and the open Borla is a beautiful contrast in the back. I do plan to get a set of slicks/skinnies on Weld racing wheels or equivalent, as far as slamming it though that would probably hurt me more than help me out here in rural Utah. The suspension needs my attention right now above all else, need to start lightening things up!!
I will get some engine pics soon but despite the tallboy Canton(beautifully welded I might add) valve covers it looks a lot like a stock LT1 with weird, obviously not stock plumbing in particular areas. I wanted to make it look stock by staying away from the bling in the engine, its clean but it doesn't bling.
Thanks for all the comments and for keeping things friendly!
Keep the comments rollin'!

I can't wait to upgrade the rims. I agree they are the weak link in the situation, although they certainly don't look bad. I am currently battling some running problems that require my immediate attention over the rims. I think I have 'er figured out though, so the rim upgrades may very well be coming soon!
