Here's some shots of the BXT before I install the Ensolite on top of it... The two rolls gave me enough to do two layers in the trunk area, floor pans, & trans tunnel.

Looks like some good progress Steve.
Did you put the sound deadening on the inside of the doors and such as well? I did that as well as putting quite a bit on the wheels wells between the inner and outer sheet metals. I had to go through the holes where the rear seat speakers are but I didn't want to have to do it again or still have noise coming in.
The best part isn't the quieter sound as much as you'd think. It's the fact that the car feels so much better and solid overall. The doors shut with a nice thud over the week bang they do stock, etc...
I've been doing whatever I can to fix all the GM cheaped out on our cars.

![](http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j65/presto_bitch/S5000838.jpg)
it looks a little
with the light blue, but ya never see it so ohwell
it made a world of difference, and was definitely worth it, but it made my car smell a little funny on really hot days for the first month or so

Here's the Ensolite. I still have to do another layer in some spots, but you get the idea.
Chad, I did put BXT inside the doors. I took before video so I wonder if I'll be able to tell the difference in the video...?

I think the ensolite is a sound insulation, where the dynamat type material is a sound dampner. The dampner keeps metal parts from resonating or vibrating, but the ensolite helps to insulate sounds that aren't from vibrations or resonation. In practical terms, the heavy dyna mat type material keeps sounds coming from metal panels vibrating and the ensolite keeps sounds that generate from exhaust and road noise out.

None came w/ the SLP lid they currently sell. The 345hp option SS came with the Blackwing lid that you saw me install earlier and the SS dash plaque again came w/ the 345HP option SS I believe.

Honestly I don't think you'll be able to hear a difference in the video, it's one of those things you just need to be there to hear but hopefully I'm wrong. Either way road trips will be a lot easier and you won't get as drained as you normally would.
