Did the whistler mod last weekend... pics!
So i have wanted to do the whistler mod to my car ever since i found out about the mod. I think it makes the front end of the Camaro look so much nicer. Im really happy with how well it turned out, but it was a pain in the ***. Had to bake each head light for 30 min before it would start to seperate. and the plastic on my headlights was very brittle, so there were many cracks and a few breaks, but an extra large tube of RTV fixed that. I used gloss engine enamel. I wanted something that wouldnt crack or fade under high heat cuz i plan on installing HIDs in the next few months... Let me know what you think!!!

honestly, i dont know. when i bought the car it had the factory grill on it. i drove it home and removed the grill, honestly i think they look ugly. i was really surprised it didnt say camaro on it, but i like it cuz it makes the front end cleaner.

i have def been toying with the idea. i think im gonig to buy a pair and put them on. if i dont like them i can always sell them to someone else. But the clear lenses do look out of place now that the headlights are darker.

Yeah none of the aftermarket bumpers say CAMARO. Only OEM. My car is currently being repaired and this issue came up. 700bucks for the OEM. The Whistlers look really good BTW. I agree tho, black corners.

Actaully the badge was on the car when i bought it. a few weeks after i bought the car, a lady parked her honda civic on the hood of my camaro. body shop repainted the bumper and hood a long with some repair work. when i went to pick up the car, it didnt have the badge on it. they said they were waiting for it to come in, and that it would be in the following week. all i had to do was come by and they would put it on... after a week of looking at it without the badge, i liked it so i never went back.
