Im looking to replace my yellow firehawk vinyl stickers with some black ones. I think i remember someone saying something about a copyright problem so no one can remake them? Anyway, if someone could help me out i would really appreciate it.

why are you changing? i like the colors, im not even sure they make black

 

ur best bet is prob to hit up brent franker for some vinyl orrr take your emblems off, paint them and stick them back on.

Yellow looks lame IMO

 

i actually dont mind the yellow on red...but those cut emblems look REAL good

 

Ive been thinking about changing to something other than yellow as well. . . .The yellow looks very 90's.

 

The makers of those emblems got a cease and desist(sp?) order from firestone, GM, and some other Firehawk/SLP related ******* for trademark or copyright infringement. I think it is a load of ****, and if they arent going to make decals/parts or support the current owners of the cars they should let somebody else.

I am not sure if you will still be able to purchase them or not, but good luck. I am just going to have mine painted/cleared when the original decals start to peel.
