50% side window tint pics please!
does anyone have their side windows tinted with 50% tint? I need to see some pics of this before I decide on what I want to do.
Please don't show me 35% or 5% or whatever, I am trying to decide between 50% or nothing at all. The hatch will be done with 4%

^^^^^ Agreed... The windows are so big on a camaro as compared to other cars so the darker tint is the way to go. My buddy here in FL went legal and did 35, it was so light it looked like **** IMO; I bought some 20% and did it myself (since i have tinted B4), looks much better, keeps the sun out enough, and I can still see out of it at night.

Just got a warning Saturday (my first in 2 years) on my tint. I've got an intermittent problem w/my ASR/Brake lights like many people. When I get to a stoplight and I know I'll be there long enough, I simply kill the car and save the gas. Well, next lane over and 2 cars back a Tx St Trooper pulls up (w/his window down). . .I'm screwed! I've got true duals and LTs. Not a quiet combo and the car is off. So I wait and wait and wait, sure enough the lights about to change to me and I start the car and see his reaction (head turned to me). He doesn't even wait to clear the intersection and crosses behind the car behind me and dodges back and forth to get behind me. I pull over when I see the lights and hand him my license, Military ID and insurance. He asks me to raise my drivers window half way and slaps on a meter. 6%. Walked back to his car and about 3-4 minutes later hands me a white slip to sign for a warning. He didn't car about the exhaust, the MT ET Streets on the back, the lack of cats or the license plate in the window. He hit me for tint. Which he couldn't see when he was behind me. Not bitching about this too much, but come on!!! I didn't like the tint anyway. Mirrored type, so I spent 30-40 minutes yesterday pulling it and de-gunking the windows. Moral to the story is don't kill your car unless you've got to.

hmmm...thanks Shockwave....at least someone took the time to read the post. This isn't a debate over what you like or what is legal, I just wanted to see an F-body with 50% tint on the side windows. I guess I will just have to have hope someone around here has it on their car.
