headlights look really bad! My headlights look horrible i have a 2000 ss camaro and they look very yellowed and dirty i tried mothers plastic polish didnt work. I was thinking about using 2000 grit sand paper do you think it would work? I just dont want to screw them up anymore...
just use a scratch removing compound like auto glymm's 03b, or whatever your preference might be, put it on an orbital buffer and go to town. i have literally done hundreds of headlights and they turn out steller. another thing that i have been told works is break fluid, but i have never tried it. good luck.
sand em down jus like they are saying start with 1500 and go up to 2000 or more, the bufff the **** out of them with some compound while your at it sand the nipples off look 100x better

I started at 1000 and went to 2000. It came out pretty good. I think for best results you should go 1500, 2000, 2500, plastic polish. Basically when your sanding with 1500 just keep sanding untill the residue stops turning yellow and goes whitish. Hope this helps
If you wanted to try something else before you wet sand give this a try. I learned this back when I had an Integra a few years back, a lot of those guys like using this method. If out headlights are made out of something different and this can harm the headlights someone speak up and let me know. That NeverDull stuff, it's actually a metal polish, I used it on my headlights that were really really foggy. They looked new afterwards and stayed that way for another year until I sold the car.
