Talking Installed Racing Seats!

These are from ebay. I've had them for about 6 months now, and decided to put them in. Had to bolt them directly to the floor board. You can use the factory brackets, but they sat too high for me.

Yea what he said. I'm also curious about high much higher the seat is over stock. Looks like prolly a couple of inches taller.

Those seats look simply perfect how they match the interior.

I don't think they weigh any less than the factory seats. Just bought them mainly for looks, rather than function! I think they are like 500 for the pair or something like that.

This car is FAR from ricer! Probably saved 25-30lbs total, including getting rid of the electric motor.

Looks good but your car has the light grey interior and not ebony. That would bug the hell out of me personally.

if i was to get racing seats, they would have to be much lighter than factory. i wouldn't spend that kind of money if they weren't.

Well my stock seats were torn, and starting to show some wear. So instead of spending money to get them recovered, and still looking stock, I spent the same money to look better than stock.

Lemon- I'm not offended! If you do it, put black carpet in as well though. Should look alot better!

Brian- I thought the same thing you did. I was planning on putting black carpet in as well to kinda finish out the look, but I think I'm fixin to trade for a Z06 so I'm just going to leave it as is. I think it would complete it alot more if I put the black carpet in.

You are gonna have the carpet out for the cage right? Either way, if you are already taking the front and rear seats out, you are half way done! Might as well just finish it with some new black carpet!
