I hate to say it but you might want to try a search. I know this has been asked before.
I don't have any pics. of the front corners on my car but I went over the stockers and I think it looks good. I am torn on doing the tails. Good luck with your search.

Did you wetsand between each coat?? How did you prep, did you clean it really good? Did you clear it, and if you did, how many coats? Did you lay the clear on in thick coats...that tends to make it more "shiny"?
If you did all of those things, I would say....take a little polishing compound, and buff it to a nice shiny gleam! Or, just buff it with a good orbital buffer!

Thanks bro!!! That is 2 coats of VHT, wet sanded in between each coat, then 3 coats of duplicolor chroma clear. Also wet sanded between each coat, then wetsanded and buffed to the shine you see there.

But mine still looks glossy without the buffing...so I guess I lucked out on that one!
When I get a new camera, I'll take better pics, cell cam doesn't do the job justice!

Why wouldn't you just use these? seems cheaper and easier plus you can remove them?

No prob! Depending on what all you are planning to do! If you are just doing the Tails, you would be good with 2 cans (depending on shade you want and how many coats you put on), If you are planning on doing the Tails, 3rd Brake Light, and Side markers, you will need about 4 cans, just to be on the safe side and again, depending on the shade of darkness you are going after as well as how many coats (and how thick) you put on!
Some people only like to achieve the "smoked" look, and others choose the "blacked out" approach! It just depends on your certain needs!![Nod](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_nod.gif)

I hope you like it after you do it. It can look very good or it can look bad. On your car since it's black... do what I did. VHT all 4 sidemarkers and if you want 3rd brake light. Leave the tails alone on a black car to help break up the black. That just my own opinion. ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
edit: actually I haven't gotten around to doing that but I did it on my firebird and left the tail lights alone and it looked amazing! Especially with a clean polished up center piece with no words or birds on it.
