Default Finally Did The Whistler Mod Right!!!

Ok so ive done this 2 times and messed it up everytime..got new headlights and decided to give it another try. Here's pics of one i finished and on the car. And i got the lense off the other one so no messing up this time....im so proud of myself haha. Oh and dont say it, for those of you who dont know, ill be getting a paint job before the summer ends

Sweet! Little secret... if you put them in the oven for 5 minutes longer the lens will come off like butter

lol why do people who dont know this mid call it whisper..it's whistler buddy (not being rude, just sounds like it). It looks amazing that's why. Once i finish my right headlight ill do better pics so you can see why we do this mod

good job man..ive never seen it done on a fbody till now...i helped me to friends do it to there cars tho..03 and 07 wrxs

^^thats alright, i tried getting away without doing it, but i could stand it, lol I have a lil OCD though, lol

Looks great man, they look even better when you shave the nipples on the lenses off....gives it a very clean look

well when i was going back to school an trucker dropped a large garbage can and it hit my car, get out to check it out and white paint was all over my car...so now i have an excuse for insurance to pay for it being that it got all over my bumper/hood/doors/quarter panel. So ill hopefully be paying 1k for an entire onyx black paint job

I wanna know, how i can do this??? Knowing me, i would probably screw it up the 1st time around without knowing exactly what i need to do lol It's either that, ill end up goinga after some Halos.

there's a write up..here's the link. Just remember put the headlights in 5 minutes longer that way you dont end up cracking the lense trying to get the rtv loose..PATIENCE is everything for this mod
