For a tint shop to not want to tint your T-Tops is pretty lame. I mean, seriously, you can take them OFF and put them on a table. Doesn't get much better than that.

Are they not tinted from the factory? The previous owner must have tinted mine, they're darker than my 20% on the sides.

Yup you're right. Plus my car never came with shades so i thought that i would do the next best thing.. Tint the T-Tops then

if you try,it yourself, make sure you dont cut the tint oversized, i did and it didnt come out well, i removed it and only scratched the inside of perfect ttops

Mine are tinted atleast 5% if not less they may be to dark cause you can barley see out them but i like it but i still use the shades some times when i dont drive the car often and it just site.

Just put the shades on and get a remote starter if this is such a big deal. I live in florida and I'm fine with the shades and 10% tint all around.

I've got mine done in 5% plus the stock tint plus the t-top shades.. I also have 20% on the front windows and 5% on the back window, and a custom fit sunshade for the windshield.. My car is black and it stays at least 20degrees cooler then before, I LOVE IT!

I vote shades. My 94 had the Dot Matrix T-Tops and even that sucked. So I bought shades for it. I kept them when I sold the car and when I got my 98 it didnt have any shades in it so I used the ones from my 94. And you dont have to use the velcro. They stick in there just fine without it.
