How many people on here have tinted their t-tops, I'm gonna go get my done. Sucks driving with the sun hitting you in the face.

Haven't done mine yet but will be doing it soon. The stock tint isn't enough, it still gets hot as hell.. Should be pretty cheap to do also..

I was planning on doing mine but I just put the shades in when the sun bothers me, invest in some shades! If you dont wanna get some, tinting them should be no problem at all.

It is actually really hard to get the tint to stick to the t-tops because of the material. I worked on mine for a couple hours one night and gave up cause i couldn't get it to lay down good

i also had 5% on the ttops but i have 15 on the sides. With the stock tint, the ttops are like 2%. Barely any heat gets through!!

I just use the shades when it gets too hot, and because I live in Miami, I run the AC. I see no problem.

When I park it, and I feel it's gonna get too hot when I get back into it, I put the shades and the windshield shade on and it remains cool enough for the AC to work just fine.

Oh, and I don't even have window tinting on any of the windows or rear windshield.

Where's the best parts store to pick up good tint? I know Auto Zone's tint is ok, but only good for a few years. Should I try NAPA, or O'Reilly, or Advance? I'll be going with 5% (or darker if they have it) and only need 1 roll.

I don't see the point in tinting them. There are 3 options:

A.) Take the T-tops out on a nice day
B.) Just have the T-tops in regular on rainy days or whenever
C.) Put the sun shades in on really sunny days to keep the sun out totally.

When I put the sun shades in, it make the car feel totally different. I find myself ducking like I am going to hit my head on the ceiling or something. Mine came with sun shades but if you don't have them, it is a great investment!

My shades stay right in there even without the velcro
