We have a big local show this weekend, LA INVASION, and I've been working on cleaning the engine bay up... I did the wire mod on both sides and painted the engine bay a slightly brighter metallic blue.

Just got my Specialized Stainless covers (thanks Steve) and my valve covers (thanks Jose) back from a great powder coat guy (thanks Ismael and Mike for sending me to him)...

Here's they are on the couch



Put everything on but the valve covers, I'll do that tonight after Bob's (local meet every Friday)

I'll post pics of the engine bay Monday after the car show

Not at all... ZL1 theme The blue just looks like the factory blue on the car (minus the purple) when it is in the light...

The factory engine bay was a darker dulller blue than what was on the car

No, not at all I have absolutely no delusions that my car would ever when jack ***** at a show... It is a daily driver and shows it

I just haven't finished installing everything and probably won't untill Sunday at midnight the way I procrastinate

I am also going to try out something that I haven't mentioned yet and don't want 100 pm's about again untill I know it works

Well, swapped out my valve covers in 45min flat at a buddy's place... Not to bad for PITA 1998 with no coil brackets and perimeter bolts...

Get my final plate tommorrow, will try to snap pics then

Car ended up not going out today, took the Goat. Was making a splitter and the material turned into crap fast
