Default will i have a power difference?

might be in worng forum if so mods im sorry feel free to move

im looking into hoods:
the sunoco
or
vfn's copy of the slp hood

the sunoco isnt functional, the slp one is

i like the sunoco better actually, but if a functional hoods going to make even a slight difference in power i like the slp version better then any other functional hood ive seen.

i do have the slp 85mm lid and the fast toys ram air wanting all the ponies availible for my current setup, would hate th think its getting choked

If you already have the FTRA then you'd be wasting your money to buy the hood just for the ram air. Go with the sunoco, it looks better IMO. no need to make a SS clone

dude functioning hoods doesnt effect hp noticeably , it cools the engine at higher speeds, plus you can make it functional. Id say go sunoco

Yea don't get a hood and expect to gain power. Just get whichever you think looks better. IMO the sunoco does.

I vote SLP, because I'm the only one in Memphis right now with a Sunoco hood and I don't want to see another

Go for the Sunoco. And I honestly wouldn't expect any more power from a hood.

Get the Sunoco hood cause it just looks so damn sexy!! If you got the FTRA it doesn't matter if the hood is functional.

Not a ******* chance in hell a functional RAM-AIR hood will make HP vs no-functional.

Do it because you like the way it looks, not because of "proposed" HP gains.
