Default Check out my Engine Bay!!!

I was inspired by everybody here that has dressed up their engine bays. I decided I would see what I can do. It was virtually stock when I started.
I painted the
Manifold & TB
Headers
MSD
Custom Coil Covers
Fuse Box Cover
Master Cylindar Cover
Wire Mod
Filled all holes
Repainted Engin Bay
Repainted head light housing & bracketry
Texas Speed TD's
Air & EGR.....
Not too bad for 130,000 miles. Let me know what you all think!

When ya going to relocate the ASR/Traction control behind your computer? Do a Search it only takes like 10 mins. Need to loose the hot air intake and get a lid setup with free ram air mod. I will make it look better too.

It looks good, but I'm curious as to why you went with gold on the valve covers? Seems like it woulda made more sense to go black/polished with your color scheme...

Thanks guys,
The "valve covers" are painted for now, I will be sending them out to be anodized in a few months but wanted to do something in the mean time. The hood will be painted with the rest of the car at the begining of next year. I am going to change the color, I am also working on the "wide body" quarters & fenders so I have some body work left to do before I can repaint.

The gold will go with the color scheme better once the car is repainted, also I had an old chevy puck up years ago with the tall gold anodized moroso valve covers and I fell in love with that look, I don't know why, but I have always liked it. I tried polishing them, and they just blended in and didn't look good. I put a lot of work into them (I even learned how to tig weld) and I wanted them to be more visable.

I made them out if a sheet of alluminum I got at ACE hardware for $13.00. I used the original valve cover as a template and cut it all out with scheres and bent them over a peice of angle iron. My dad has a tig welder so I learned how to use that and welded the front edges and divit for the fuel lines. There was A LOT of trial & error and trimming involved. I have some pics of the process I can post up when I get home tonight.

I know I still have more work to do, but the car is going to be repainted in a few months and I will revisit the engine bay when I repaint.

Looks great man. I always thought gold and white look good as long as it isn't overdone. Good job and keep up the good work!
