Default Sunoco Hood or SS spoiler

I do not know what to do. Im getting two paycheck on Friday and the third one on moday. Yes I have three jobs just to have this wonderful car. Im only a senior in high school so I work hard for this car and work harder to make it look beautiful.

CHOICE #1

Get a replica Super Sport Spoiler from a non-sponsor site (i dont know if I am allowed to mention them) for 175 dollars.

Or

CHOICE #2

Ive always wanted the Sunoco hood from VFN. I just dont know if I want the hood now, or wait a little bit.

What does everyone else think?

Thanks

well i personally dont see a SS spoiler making that much of a difference looks wise. As for the Sunoco, it'll be around $550-600 shipped to your door after taxes and handling fees. Then you have to spend more money on a body shop for fitment. then after a month or so pay more money to get it painted. The hood will be the biggest appearance mod for the car but is also the most expensive. I plan to get a Sunoco eventually and a freedom spoiler. But for the time being im spending the money on more go fast parts.

Well the bodyshop part I have under control. My dad works at the Cadillac dealership and the whole "Scratch my back and I will Scratch yours" goes into play. Plus I know everyone over there so that will not be a problem.

Go with the hood, thats gonna have the biggest visual impact on your car next to wheels.

Oh and I cant wait for those splitters to be done. Thanks for actually doing them.

That is what I was going to say. I always read...
1. Rims (look good with stock or aftermarket hood/spoiler)
2. SS Spoiler (looks good with stock or aftermarket hood)
3. Hood (looks unbalanced with stock spoiler/rims)
???Splitter????

I have 10 spoke rims and just ordered an SS spoiler. Next will be either a sunoco hood (although I don't really want to spend $1K+) or a splitter once I see some pictures with the stock flat hood

I say go with the hood. If you have the money to do it now, then do it. You might not know when you will have another chance to buy it. You can get the spoiler for cheap any time. Hood hands down.

I think splitter will look good even on a stock car Plus, who knows how long they will actually last so get them while you can

Anyways, I agree... You should normally go with a spoiler first and agree completely with the order you posted BUT if you plan to do everything anyways then it is good to break the order and by the most expensive thing first while you have the money for it...

Always easier to find a couple hundred bucks for a spoiler (birthday, christmas, hanukah, whatever...) later...

I'm gonna disagree with you Mark on the splitter comment. I don't think the splitter will look right on a stock height car

Just saw this, thanks

I agree if you are going to mod it and aren't sure how far you are going then you should go in stages that it looks good whether or not you are going to go further...

If you know what you want though then I say bang out the big stuff first... You'll end up with a full modded car quicker if you're like me and money burns a hole in your pocket...

Yeah, I think I actually plagiarizes one of your old posts, that's why you agree with me so much
And so far I am about 60/40 on the splitter, 60% I love it and it will looks great on my car and 40% do I really need it but then again do I really NEED any of my mods....maybe 80/20 now.

Honestly if you can affoard the hood get it and scrape up the extra $175 for the spoiler too...then have them painted at the same time. Both will work to make the other look better!

Agreed, I think the hood will stick out to much with the stock spoiler.
