I hear what you are saying, I would like to know...however I'm probably going to have a shop fix mine when I get my Repaint! Mine happened I think when my wife was driving my car to work and some jackass bumped her. Here's an example of what x2jesse is talking about...I think:

If you look between the Passenger Taillight and the bumper...you can see it.

I think all later f-bodies do that. I noticed it on my Camaro. But some have it worse than others.

I always thought it was the damn heat here in AZ just melting the bumper a bit.

YES thats exactly what Im talkn about. There has to be a way to fix this easy. maybe a few spacers under the bumper. Id like to see what they looked like brand new, see if they came that way from factory.

I was thinking washers in the bolts where the bumper mounts to the support? I haven't seen exactly how the bumper mounts, so just a suggestion.

I think it's the whole damn bumper. Mine is not too bad, but still semi noticable.

Where do you see it on yours? The firebird is easy to spot because there is just the bumper and tail light seam, but the camaro has the bumper, berger panel, and tail lights so I'm not sure what to look for.

My rear bumper was spider cracked from the previous owner and I had it repainted BUT after I got it back I noticed the bolts that go through the body of the car broke free from the bumper so it didnt have the upper support anymore...

I am going to repull my bumper again this weekend hopefully and see if it can be rigged somehow to keep it attached to the bumper and the body of the car.

Bump, bump.

Mine has almost a 1/2" gap under the tail lights. I just wax the inside paint so it is not that noticable. But it still sucks.
