Painting calipers question
Would there be any problem or is it recomended to paint them even if the brakes/rotors are stock?
i want to redo it though. the paint is starting to flake...if you do it right they could look badass.
i have a real good write up if your interested. ill post it later...im at work and the write up is bookmarked on my computer.
Please post! I'm planning on doing mine soon too and would like some pointers on doing it right.

When I did my front brakes I replaced the rotors/pads but you could always just reuse your pads and clean/paint the rotors until you get new ones. I used Dupli-Color silver caliper paint(spray) on the calipers, flat black high temp engine enamel on the brackets and semi-gloss black engine enamel on everything else.
When I did my rears I reused my existing rotors, just painted them up. My pads which only had about 5K miles on them still looked a little nasty so I masked off the pad portion and painted the backs semi-gloss black. I never bothered to take any pics when I did them but they pretty much look the same as the fronts. Whenever I do stuff like this I try to take everything apart as far as I can for painting, IMO the results are worth the extra work.
Here's in work and after shot of mine, I probably went a little further than you plan on but you don't have to go this far...I just get carried away.

69vette-I am 50-60 dollars lower than any other powdercoater I know of that advertises on the LSx car forums, period. You get what you pay for, and at the price you charge I'd be curious what you'd get to be honest.
