This is hat happens when I get bored....painted intake
Started disassembling my car this week for a heads/cam swap. Was planning on picking up the heads/cam today....but the porting won't be completed till Monday. So.......what to do when the wife's not at home and the car is already apart?
Well, here's what I did. Still debating whether I like the way it turned out (the colors are much brighter than I origonally envisioned). It'll definetly be different though.....and patriotic. Used ceramic engine enamel to paint it. $0.02 appreciated.
BTW, my car is white w/ blue/red accent pieces.

That's f'n awesome!!! If you're worried about the color being too bright / vibrant you might wanna look into putting some tint in the clear (if it's not cleared already). Either way, that's just flat out cool. Nice work!

Thanks. Yep, I put a coat of clear on it already to smooth out the transitions from masking the colors/stars.
Think I'll keep it "as is" after the feedback
