Default I need a new hood

I was in an accident a few months back and bent the very front tip of my hood. No other damage except a scratch on the bumper. I priced getting it fixed and they want $500. I figure instead of paying that I would more likely put the $500 dollars toward a new hood. I really like the raptor hood. Anyone have any suggestions. Are there others to choose from.

Oops forgot to say I have a 2000 Formula

Try www.ls1speed.com for some choices...

I have the ASCD WS6 hood but I would have rather have gotten the Raptor to be different.

I had the Raptor hood on my T/A, and I loved the look of it. It has a very sleek appeal.
FWIW, I have a stock '98 silver T/A hood if you're interested.

Wow those prices are a lot lower than I thought they would be. The RAM AIR H.O. hood is only $689. The Raptor from suncoast creations is $995 they look the same. I wonder why one is $300 cheaper?

If I had to replace my hood on the WS6. The SLP H.O. hood would be my choice. I like the bigger openings in the front of that hood. If Mecham didnt have such a rep. for not have a good fit or craftmanship I would like to get that one. Those are some sweet looking hoods.

I would personally go with the 3" cowl induction from Glasstek I think. It can be found on www.ls1speed.com. This cowl looks fu(king awesome! Just mean, mean I tell you!
