I had a Pioneer head unit in my '01 Lightning, and it was AWESOME! I originally bought a Sony, but the face broke on it, so I exchanged it for the Pioneer. I'm glad that I did because the sound was a lot better w/ the Pioneer head unit. It was the same price as the Sony, and it put more power out while also allowing you to "tune" your stereo for your vehicle. It took me a week to sort through all of the adjustments, but it was well worth the time.

Pioneer, I love em.
I have a top of the line pioneer cd/cd changer that has a screen saver and a remote control.
Can't put into word how much I like em. Not sure of the model #.

Pioneer makes really good head units. Sub-eh, they're not that great. Amp-they're ok. But they're head units have lots of feature allowing you to fine tune your music and sound awsome too.

I have a pioneer HU. It's the 1.5 DIN version so it's not a premium. It's ok for the price. It has a lot of features. However, I don't care for those features too much. Also it doesn't look good in my taste. I'd get something else if I can start over.
