Fog Light is Burnt out...how do I replace??

Fog Light is Burnt out...how do I replace?? Someone on LS1.com was saying that if I flip on the lights I can reach my hand down to the Fog Light...and all I have to do is make a 1/4 turn counter clockwise...
I think I can handle that part...all I need to know is if anyone has tried this and where can I purchase a replacement bulb...

Re: Fog Light is Burnt out...how do I replace?? You can manually raise the headlights to gain access to them. There is a rubber boot covering the **** to raise. Remove that and turn it until they are all the way up. You are right, all you have to do is turn them, then unplug from harness. You can also access them through the bottom. Pop out the 3 centermost plastic studs under the front bumper, fold it down and you can get them.

Re: Fog Light is Burnt out...how do I replace?? Walmart sells GE replacement bulbs. The stock ones have paint on the tip of the bulb, you will see what I am talking about. You can get brighter ones, I think the 885? But some people have reported melting the lens. I went with the PIAAs, becuase I have night blindness, LOL <img src="images/icons/cool.gif" border="0">

Re: Fog Light is Burnt out...how do I replace?? Mine are superwhites and they are brighter then my brights. They are the "driving" beam, not the fog pattern. They were expensive ($200) for the whole assembly.
Putting bright bulbs in the stock fog light housing is not doing much, you really need to upgrade if you want it brighter. CATz, PIAA, and blazertech all make aftermarket fog lights that will fit in the T/A bumper.

Re: Fog Light is Burnt out...how do I replace?? Napa has 880, 893 and 894 bulbs. My Silverado used 880's when I exploded the bulbs foreging through the rivers during that flood we had a few weeks back.

Blazertech is what the Camaro's (and most GM vehicles) come with stock. Those were replaced the minute I brought the car home.

You can gain access by flipping the lights, but you need a 3 year old hand to do it. Look under your front bumper and remove the 10mm bolts that line around the front edge. pull down on the plastic panel and stick your arm up. twist and pull.
