What is That Stripe Called?

What are those lines/stripes called painted over the wheels? The two Diagonal ones?

FYI, the stripes that came on actual GS corvettes were only on the left fender.

No reason at all to EVER put these on an F-Body. They're a Corvette thing, they date back to the 60's Gran Sport racers.

I had them on my old red WS6 and liked them but I personally think they look a little better on birds.

I don't know why people put them on anything! I hate it when cars look uneven, and that is just hideous, even on GS in my opinions. The reason for putting them on in the first place was so they could tell a difference between two identical cars in the races, not for looks...

they are gs stripes and they generaly belong no where near a f body

That's it! I couldn't remember what the hell it was called.

I'm trying to talk my buddy (with a NBM T/A) out of doing it... he thinks it might look "Badass" if he slaps 2 on each side in SOM... I don't think he's all there these days.

You shouldn't put them on if you don't know the heritage behind them....or their name =D

The look good on either F-body, but I think it has been over done, well at least where I live

Oh....I know what you are talking about! What the hell are they called? Oh yeah, REALLY GAY! I thought the Grand Sports looked dumb enough with them, then every ricer out there did it and THEN for some insane reason some F-bodies began turning up with them
