the dealership contracted the work out too, one would think if you're going to contract work out (with something like cutting off a roof) you get someone who will do a good job

Can carbon fiber be formed to replace or cover the dash pad? Or is it (my idiot moment) really crazy to just find some sort of adhesive cover to cover it?

only thing that would be an issue for a carbon fiber dash pad would be gluing or installing the clips on the back of it some how...

and it better be a good epoxy resin used on it since it will be in the sun light a lot, otherwise it'll turn yellow...

So, my best option is to find a new/replacement stock dash pad. You mainland guys are lucky you don't have to deal with the shipping costs and the frequent damaged shipments. I've got to think about this one or maybe just live with the dash cover.

No. I say just fix what you have (a little plastic weld or epoxy) and then have it covered in a black suede...

Will look good and get rid of annoying glare

I had a co-worker say he didn't have too good results with the epoxy, but I don't think he covered it like your saying? Great idea! Another project to add to the basket.

BTW, 6LITEREATER I love the new products your adding nearly everyday. Do you have a pic of the splitter on a lighter colored camaro? Hopefully, Pewter for future consideration.

I have had some set backs. I just got done moving and on top of that some little ******* was stealing mail and packages from my friend's house and others in the neighborhood so needless to say some of the material is gone and we are waiting on the insurance claim so we can reorder. BUT as soon as things start to come together I will post it up.

Hey Russ, any progress? If not I think I'll move forward on putting it into production...

Got a close up look at the ZR1 today. It made me get super excited about the CF targa roof that we are closed to production on and seeing it with the sail panel made think we might as well give it a shot...

First of all, how many people would be ready to buy one of these and for how much?

Second of all, what is the part number for a factory t-top sail panel (so I can order one)?

We'll go from there... Get me answers asap and I might be able to get this going very soon (my guy is about to build mold for targa, if I can get him this piece soon he could do it at the same time)

i wouldn't "jump all over" a targa roof or sail panel, BUT i'd like to see them hit the market because when i get my motor done and tuned, i'll be looking for external mods...i've always wanted a targa

Well the targa is DEFINITELY happening. It will be in full production in January, first production pics around end of December first of January.

What is not definitely happening but COULD happen is the sail panel. I personally don't need it for my car (I have no bubbles) so it is NOT something I would put my money into (like other projects).

However, I can easily get it made if there is enough interest. By interest I mean monetary deposits at the least...
