Re: Will 20's fit in front?
This is a pic of my friend and our "F-Body Prez" car CRKHEDMAT. He has 19x9.5 HRE 545's up front, and 20x10 HRE 545's in the back. His car is one of the sickest looking machines ive seen around and he always gets a thumbs up from me
Personally, i think it looks much better with 19's up front and the 20's in the back- not too mention you probaly save a few $$$ if you choose to go that route.
Just my $0.02

Will 20's fit in front?
All the local tire shops say 20's will fit the front of a F-body but all over the boards I hear they won't so what gives? Will they fit or not? Thanks!

I have a set on mine that are 20x8.5 on the front. The rear are wider. The only place they rub is in a full speed turn with the wheel turned all the way. I had a set of 18x9 up front and they did the same thing. I don't think you'll regret doing it. I sold the wheels because the car is mostly drag race only now but they did fit. HRE and Boyd Coddington I know both make an 20" application to fit.

Awesome, thanks for the info! The ones I am looking at are 20 X 8.5 up front so it should be perfect.

LMAO, you all are funny, but it should look good! I still am keeping the 17's for racing though.

Dubs are a brand of wheels from what I have been told. They only come in 20"+...
I could be wrong though, it has happened once or twice in my lifetime...lol

Re: Will 20's fit in front?
Just as an update, after I placed my order they called me back & told me that the company who made the rims I wanted no longer made them for our cars. So I looked around & didn't see any 20's I wanted so I ordered 18" Chrome Y2k C5 rims instead.

dub stands for double (2 tens). It originates from 2 10 sacks of weed (a dub sack). The wheel company "dub" just took up the slang word as their company name.
The sprewell racing camaro had 20's on the front, but the article did say that they had to work on the fenders a bit. (the car was lowered though).
