Just installed Harlan shiftlight!
Is anyone else still having a problem with it coming on occasionally when their wipers are on? I had the second version which was supposed to have addressed this, but every once and a while it comes on when I'm cruising at about 1800 rpm and the wipers are on delay.
Who knows....

Actually the red is the best color for not blinding you at night. Why do you think they use it for doing night maneuvers in the military and on traffic lights. You can see it very well, but it doesn't blind you to where it hampers your night vision.

You're right on red being the best color for night racing, much better than the yellow or green.
I've had the light go off with the wipers, but only on the mist setting. Kinda weird, but it doesn't bother me. I also have the second version.

It's on version 3.0, version 3.1 goes out end of the week.
It's only and f-body problem too

Also I have some good picks of the install that a friend and I did on my 02 T/A. We put it in the middle set of vents in to one closest to the driver. We used the placstic clip that holds the throttle cables to the A/C line on a car with TCS. We put a small piece of thread all and 2 nuts on it so you can adjust the height and angle of the light. Everyone that has seen the install now wants me to do theirs just the same. I might just have to email them to someone that can post them on an install site.

What could be the reason for this. I have check the connections to the pcm rpm wire, and it is water tight. Very confusing.

putting a capacitor on the power and ground lines will help the problem. I made some changes in the reset portion of the code to check for the source of reset, make sure it was power-on, not low voltage.
There's enough spike in the power system to cause the light to trip the low-voltage reset. Like when the wipers move, big draw from the power windows, etc.
Who's got on that does it?? more than so far?
That is the big question here!!
