The fact that some of you people fail to READ is beyond me. How many more of you are going to say that the hood fits bad? If you even bothered to read you would have seen that the damn hood was just placed on the car, not installed.
Man, some of you guys are so quick to jump down someones throat and make them look dumb, when you in fact are the one who ends up looking dumb.
This thread fails on epic proportions due to the enormous amount of stupidity.

Read my original post,i agree with you guys, i was just tired of everyone nutswinging that other car that needs the hood for the same reason yet giving this guy **** about his. Its like calling a 8.xx car awesome and cool because it has a full cage and a 9.xx car a ricer for having it.

You can't be serious? 13's? You couldn't find the sarcasm in that comment? The car is a 2900lb car w/ full suspension, TH400 w/ transbrake, 5000 rpm yank converter, ported head,s MS4 setup that will see n2o. You are a complete moron, hell there is even a picture of the car in this thread with the SINGLE PLANE and CARB setup which makes the hood necessary.

hahahahahaha... ok... but ONLY if you prove the function first. Seriously, you definitely should have spent the money on performance mods rather than making your car looks stupid. 13's are not fast. now when you consider a stock ls1 runs 13's EASILY. Congratulations, your car looks absolutely ridiculous and is stills slow.

If you dont want opinions and comments, dont post up pictures. Thats the whole point. You cant get mad at people for not liking it (or liking it for that matter) after you post up pictures of the damn thing. I know half the people didnt read about the fitment and function, but you should expect that, its a goddamn forum.
Now for how I feel about it...I'm not sure. My first impression was goddamn that thing is ugly....but its kind of growing on me. Maybe with the TA spoiler it would look better.

Well this whole thread has turned to the fact that people need to READ. It's understood that your going to get good's and bad's when you post up pictures or your own opinion, but people need to read what's going on rather than reading the first post, and leaving a comment on page 4.
Otherwise, I think the hood screams "IM GONNA EAT YOU" which I think was just what Pontiac was going for in the Trans Am. Nice job

ok, now that i've read and comprehended the entire thread....i think this hood will look awsome once it is properly mounted. be it a street or strip car it's pretty f'in sick considering the application. i can't tell from the pics but would a four inch have fit or did you just play it safe by going with the five inch? i wouldn't mind goin with the four inch myself, however with my current set up, my non-ram air hood does just fine. i can't justify spending 400-1200 dollars (depending on the retailer) on a hood that's gonna gain me 15-20 horses at the most. to the OP: badass hood and don't let the LED dome light posters tell you any different.

Just saw this. I don't care if you don't like it. If you read and understand it serves a purpose and don't like it, then thats fine.
98TAjwh, I just played it safe. I was planning on running a plate n2o setup, and the carb spacer....it was getting close. As it sits I'll have plenty of room for all that and a carb pan to take advantage of the pressure differential at the back of the hood/windshield.
