Default Got my Sunoco hood in 10 DAYS!!!

I ordered my sunoco hood for my 99 camaro on the 19th and I got it today the 29th!! I've always read about how it takes them forever to get them made and people wait a month or two. They actually told me 4-5 weeks and its only been 10 days.

Well im going to smooth out the line on the front end b/c i ordered the hood without the centerline, so once i get it painted and get the front end done ill get some pics up.

Usually they are forever. You got the same order I did, with the group buy. They are alot faster.

I ordered mine a few weeks ago and they called me a day or two later and said it was ready to ship but I am trying to have it shipped with at least one other person so I am waiting until that person's hood is complete. I guess they had/have a few in stock.

Ya im going to have the center line on the front facia sanded down so it matches up better with the hood. I really didnt like how the hood with the center line looked so i got the smooth one.

All you guys that also have this hood do you plan on using your stock hood struts or are you going to get some that are softer since the hood is lighter??

the Sunoco's are reinforced where the hood struts mount, right? There are apparently a bunch of people that are using the stock struts on the newer version of the hood

I used my stock struts. I asked the body shop guy about it and he said there wouldn't be a problem. I think also, that if you weren't supposed to, they would say so. The Sunoco is a very stable hood. Much more stable than any other after market hood I've seen.
