I dont think anybody is bashing you. You were asked how it was done and was very evasive with your answer....personaly I think its because you are trying to sell them in the classifieds and on ebay. Then when I posted how I did it you seem to take offense to it and act like I didnt know what I was talking about. Yours might make mine look like **** and take you a 1/4 of the time to do, but most people dont have "the tools" to polish them like you do. So I was simply letting them know how they could do them themselves and save $55.

15 min is believable with proper method. I dont wet sand hardly anything that is already a smooth/satin substrate to polish it to a near chrome finish. I used to do it that way a few years ago but then started really getting into the proper use of buffs and compounds and my hand no longer feels like I have arthritis after polishing parts. Wire wheels dig into soft metal and leave marks you have to sand out, for stripping those factory black finishes I usually use a buff coated lightly with greasless grit compound left not fully dried on the buff. As long as whats left is satin without any need of sanding for repair I start in with the compounds. Its boring work but easier and faster to obtain good results. To folks using the sanding method you MUST use high quality wet/dry paper like 3M brand. Low quality will not remove the previous grit scratches 100% as you move to each new grit
and your final result will not be very good I promise you.
I can't tell how well done these struts are in the pics, this monitor I'm on at the moment blows.

Here are a couple things I did using the exact method I described above, no sanding.Taking pics of this stuff was difficult, they show probably 60% of the shine if I had to guess compared to person.
AMW catch can that was also anodized in clear. Same method, stripped the clear with greaseless and then worked the buffs. I would say I had 30 minutes in it total. The bracket is actually powder coated, not polished.
Speed Inc fuel rails. These were anodized in clear, so same idea. Removed the clear with greaseless and worked the buffs. Probably 20 minutes into each fuel rail
