DELETE IT!! It will save clutches and will help et's a lil...see when the trans shifts it pulls timing to like 5degrees which kills ur power. if you up line pressure, and delete TM you can chirp the tires all the way to 3rd gear...at least I can...trust me it's definatly worth doing. I would suggest though keeping the TM at about 50% normal BELOW 30% throttle so it doesn't bang the shifts when ur just cruising...above 30% throttle ur trying to get somewhere fast anyway so it doesn't matter.
That's how jayson and I did mine from MTI and I LOVE IT.

im pretty sure it will kill your trans quicke. not make it last longer. it takes away timing untill the clutch is fully engaged. if you race alot and delete TQ management you should probably expect a tranny rebuild alot sooner than if you didnt

110,000 miles on mine. it actually saves clutches cause your not slipping them.

heh You da man Ron.
TM is a way to manage torque by reducing ignition timing, thus creating less power from the engine. Your trans takes the same amount of time to shift but less power is put THROUGH the shift if you keep TM.
The more power you put THROUGH the shift, the harder it is on parts like clutches.

Hey Magnus ... Ya that modulation time is when your smokin them clutches. Raising line presure pretty much just helps cooling flow out some and does an overkill job on clamping force. But to start out-shifting TM it's shift kit time "stage one" >>> Clutch clearance set up "stage two" >>> Or the Super 60 "stage three"

One thing about TM, I just can't stand how the shifts feel. It just makes the shifts feel like crap. I got rid of it within a few weeks of getting my car.

a shift kit will save clutches by making them not slip. magnus is correct in that all it does is put less power through the shift so your not as hard on parts untill the clutch is fully engaged
