Sorry about the confusion.

2 different things to consider on a Circle D converter. Durability and Stall.

Durability - This is the Stage I, II and III. Different HP levels take different parts. Most of the billet parts are made in house and are a Circle D exclusive.

Stall - This is the "2C" or "4C" rating. These equate to a combination of pumps and stators. It is a chart I made years ago and is a Circle D secret of exactly what they represent.

So it is possible to get a "2C"(Approximately a 3200) rated stall in either the Stage I, II or III. The more HP you have the higher stage you need. Hope that helps.

On your stage 3, you say "We challenge you to try to break it". Do you offer a warranty to back this up? Because another company (sponsor here so can't mention any names, but rhymes with stank) gave me the same challenge and I broke it 4 times under warranty, and it broke again shortly after going out of warranty. And the last time I got it back, I swear the stall speed was about 2600, not the 3600 it originally was.

Warranty on the Stage III is 3 years. Nobody has broken one yet. We have some guys with 800+hp with WOT lock up, still going strong.

I might have to put that to the test. I don't make 800 hp, but it weighs about 4750lbs. And I don't even lock it up at WOT.

Circle D,

Thanks for the clarifying. I think a 2C would be fine for me. As for Lock Up, what does this means to those who dont know ?

Hey man. I am soon to purchase a new converter. My old one was a VIG 3200 and was happy with it. I am going with 3.73s in this car( vs the 3.23s in my old car) so i may want a little more of a stall.

What do you recomend for people who like to roll race?

BTW i live in your area so there is a good chace i will make a purchase from you. Alot of guys in Houston like your work.

HTX, for a good roll race you need it to flash high to get you converter in the power band. I like the 4C - 3800 - they will work great from a roll or at the track. Stop by some time and I can show you everything that goes in them.
