Default good stall speed for the street !!!!!

i'm in atlanta and we have the friday night drag's . it's on pit road at atl motor speedway. i need a stall that will hook up on a street like surface. as they do not prep pit road so it's bassically a road like any other. i was reccommended a 3200 by a local speed shop. i have talked to alot of people with stall's though and they say a 3500-3800 . what do you guy's think would be a good stall for this.

You would need to give some details about your car to get and answer on this,
MODS, REAR, ETC

true, u would give more info on your setup!! but for daily driving and occasional track visits anywhere from 3200-3600 would be good all around. i daily drive a vigilante 3200 and its perfect for what i want for my car since its never gonna see the track. but there are guys that daily drive a 4k stall with no problems.

we would need more info like they said but 3600 is one of our most popular. We have an info sheet on our site that covers all of the pertinent info needed to build a converter.heres the link http://www.fticonverters.com/FTI%20C...ER%20SHEET.htm. if you have any questions give me a call.

Thanks,
Greg

I run a 4k stall and I can hook up on random city streets without issue at all. Once in a while I can hook good enough my cell phone flies from the console slot (next to the cig lighter) to where the back seats were

Get your suspension mods lined up, tweaked, and get some Mickey T's. You should be able to hook with a good sized stall

But knowing your current mods would help, too

Like the others have said. 3600 is a minimum. I'm personally going to go with a 4000-4400 stall

I daily drive with a 4000 stall. I'm happy with it, but I don't have driving experience with anything in the 3200-3800 range to compare either. I'm on street tires (BFG g-force T/As) and it's not easy to hook up.

If your interested in a used stall. I have a Pro Yank 3400 extreme for sale. Low miles and will work on the pricing a bit.
