Default Stall recommendations??

Currently have a TCI what I believe to be a 3600-4K stall. Let me know what yank or other comparables you would recommend and stall size for my set up :

2001 LS1
Headers
ORY
LS6 intake
TSP 231/237 113 lsa
150 shot

Thanks for your help. Im leaning towards Yank but only because Im not to educated on other brands and Ive heard good things about Yank.

A guy I know is running the Yank SS4000 on his LSx and he really enjoy's it. Being you are running Nitrous you might want/need to run one of their Nitrous/Blower converters..I'm not too experienced in that area though. You might want to call and talk w/ the guys at Yank about which one will be best for your set up..

If you drive it regularly on the street, I think the SS4000 would be a great choice. If it's more of a strip or street race car, I'd look into the PT series - 4000-4400. It'll get you there quicker.

+1 on the 4000-4400 if it's gonna be used for strip.

I have experiance with both the SS3600 and the SS4000 on a similar setup to what you posted. The SS4000 was a little to large on the bottle but really rocked N/A(1.55 60'N/A and 1.50 on a 175) the SS3600 was a little soft N/A but really shined on the Jug. (1.7 60' N/A 1.50 60' 175) On the same Nitrous hit the SS3600 would MPH about 2-3 higher.

I would run the SS3600 and let it eat! FWIW I still run the ss3600 in my turbo combo its been 144MPH and 1.49 sixty's consistantly at 4000lbs.

He's right - I somehow didn't notice the 150 shot in your list. I think that Yank makes some models - PY3600 is one, IIRC - that are real bottle friendly.

The Circle D 5C will give you everything you could ask for in a street strip converter and it'll take the 150 shot without blinking. I believe they offer a free restall and free shipping also.

That's my .02

I believe the SS4000 is a bit tighter and is better for a spray street/strip car like yours. The PT4000 is suppose to be a very efficient NA converter, but might flash too high on the bottle.
