A Circle D 8" modified race converter will do you right. Our combos are very similar and ours was spot on the first time out and it's getting the power to the ground.

That is so funny! I did the same thing the first time out, then I went to a tighter Circle D converter becasue the tracks around here suck in the Summer heat. When I swapped back to the 5C in good air, the car went straight on the bumper.lol. Yeah that destroyed a good pair of underwear

He would love the 8" race converter I'm running right now since he has a
TH400.

It's comparable to the 5C, but built for the non-lock up trannys like the TH350,TH400 and Glides.

We build race converters. This is what we are known for. Such as the 5 FTI customers that were in the 32 car Top dragster feid in NHRA BMP this weekend. The bump was 7.08 and low qualifier was 6.02 @ 239 mph in the 1/4 mile. Super comp was won there with our product also. Need a real Race converter call me 1-866-726-8358

Thanks,
Greg

Ps. Our testing is done with racepack data computers in cars from 400 to 2500 hp.Real Race data.

I dont know why I skimped out at first and got a cheaper one to start..The difference between the TCI and circle D are night and day..This thing just hits from everywhere!! When I got heads and intake it was fun but swapping out my old converter to this does not even compare...I love this converter!!!!
