Default Im tied between the two..

yank 3000 - 575 bucks (awesome)

Yank 3600 - 725 bucks (not so awesome im kind of on a budget)...

For the price/benifit factor what would yall recommend? I know alot of people are going to say the 3600 but plz be helpful and honest as you can.

Im kind of on a budget and all I will probably have for a good while is just a bolt on car....whenever I do end up getting headers..

Gotta say the 3600....I'm assuming it's the SS3600 you're looking at. The SS series are awesome converters for a street/strip car. They'll snap your neck out of the hole, and driving manners are top notch. You're probably going to want more if you go with the 3000. It's only $150 difference....for one of the most popular converters on the market.

yank is good. depends on what kinda racin you will do the most of. roll race or track race.
3000 will be good for the rolls and it will do decent at the track, 3600 will require a g suit
for the awsome 60fts and it will do good from rolls to. depends, witch ever one you get make sure and get it tuned afterwards, will make that stall and tranny work great.

The 3600 is a 10" with billet front cover, whereas that 3000 is an 11" with stamped front cover. The 3600 will have a better clutch and be lighter. BTW, they make a billet 3000 (look under new products), but it's $685. Unless you want a lower stall speed for some other reason, I'd just get the 3600.

Definetly the SS3600, its one hell of a converter. Actually pulling mine out this week and selling it since I am going larger if you may be interested. Would have you around the price of the 3000 your looking at.

Does it say that in is sig or elsewhere? You need to make up your mind and go with it. Even if you have the help of others or experts doesn't mean you will get it right the first time, or do some mods that will require another converter for the changes made. It's just the nature of the beast.

Probaly around $600. 3,000 miles and just under 2 years left on the warranty.

AN FTI SRLS billet 9.5" converter set at 3600 would be great for your combo as a DD but if you would like a harder hit and less driveability a 4000 would be good.Give us a call or pm.We have a special for LS board users.
